IMC Licensing Announces New Licensing Deal
for MTD Products and Peg Perego
CUB CADET® To Target Youth Market

LOUISVILLE, KY – IMC Licensing, the nation’s leading full-service licensing agency specializing in consumer product brands, announced today that it has negotiated a new licensing agreement for MTD Products, Inc.’s world-renowned CUB CADET® brand to develop 12-volt battery-operated ride-on toy tractors in conjunction with Peg Perego USA, Inc., a global leader in the ride-on toy category.

“We are delighted to bring together MTD Products and Peg Perego to target the next generation of young gardeners with the 12-volt battery-operated CUB CADET® Riding Toy Tractor,” said Cara Bernosky, President of IMC Licensing. “MTD Products Inc. is well known as a leading global manufacturer of outdoor power equipment including garden tractors, lawn trimmers and mowers and we believe that by keeping in the lawns and garden space where their brands have the most consumer relevance, this and other new products will be able to leverage brand equities and link the brand with the youth market.”

The CUB CADET® Riding Toy Tractor, a children’s ride-on vehicle, is a high-performance vehicle that lets young gardeners feel all grown up by emulating mom or dad. It operates on a 12-volt rechargeable battery and runs on all kinds of terrain, including grass, dirt and hard surfaces. It features a trailer hitch for hauling those heavy loads, and moves forward at two-and-a-quarter and four-and-a-half miles per hour and in reverse at two-and-a-quarter miles per hour. The easy on-off foot pedal and automatic brakes make driving child’s play for youngsters ages three to seven with a weight capacity of 85 pounds. The Riding Toy Tractor also features a large adjustable seat and armrests. It is made in the USA.

”The Cub Cadet® Riding Toy Tractor will be introduced at the American International Fall Toy Show in New York City in late October 2006 with initial shipments expected in the Spring of 2007,” said Kim Steadman, Licensing Manager for IMC Licensing. “Distribution channels are expected to include mass and toy retailers, department stores and MTD’s dealer network as well as e-commerce. Peg Perego also will have the opportunity to distribute this new product into some of MTD Products’ established tractor supply retail channels including independent retailers and home improvement stores such as Tractor Supply and The Home Depot.”
