IMC Co-Founders to Speak at Three Industry Conferences

LOUISVILLE, KY -- IMC Licensing, the nation's leading full-service licensing agency specializing in consumer product brands, announced today that its co-founders, CEO Stephen R. Reily and President Cara K. Bernosky, have been selected to speak at three upcoming industry conferences this Fall.

In September, Mr. Reily will speak at The Licensing Letter Symposium: The Future of Licensing on September 13, 2005 in Chicago. Produced by EPM Communications, Inc., The Licensing Letter is the leading resource for worldwide data on the business of licensing, deal-making and trends and its annual symposium is designed for retailers, property owners, agents and manufacturers in all sectors of licensing and merchandising. Mr. Reily’s topic will be “Integrating Licensing into the Core Program,” addressing how to make sure the goals and rollout of the licensing program mesh with that of the brand or property it supports. In October, Ms. Bernosky will speak at the Licensing International Networking Conference (Link) held October 5 – 7, 2005 in New York City. In November, Mr. Reily will speak at the School, Home, & Office Products Association (SHOPA) Paperworld USA Conference held November 9 – 11, 2005 in Las Vegas. Produced by SHOPA, PROPAER and Messe Frankfurt, this event is the leading industry trade showcase of new products, innovations, concepts and ideas in school and home office supplies. Mr. Reily will participate as part of a four-person panel discussing the topic “New Developments in Entertainment Licensing” including the ins-and-outs of licensing entertainment properties, corporate brands and publishing titles from the perspectives of both licensor and licensee. At IMC, Mr. Reily is responsible for overseeing licensing strategy and relationships with clients as well as business development and marketing efforts within the licensing industry. He serves on the Advisory Board of the Licensing Journal, where for three years he wrote a monthly column on corporate trademark licensing. Mr. Reily has served as an officer of the International Licensing Industry Merchandisers' Association (LIMA), the trade organization of the licensing industry, and is a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA) and the Licensing Executives Society (LES). A former corporate attorney, he graduated from Yale College, summa cum laude, and from Stanford Law School, after which he clerked for Justice John Paul Stevens of the U.S. Supreme Court.

Ms. Bernosky is responsible for managing IMC’s day-to-day operations. Since co-founding the company in 1997, she has developed wide-ranging portfolios of licensed products for several clients and has led the process by which IMC develops its own portfolio of new clients. She works intimately with clients and internal staff on strategy and the plan by which IMC will develop licensing portfolios. Before joining IMC, Ms. Bernosky worked for International Sports Marketing, Inc. where she represented professional athletes in licensing and other transactions, for Network International and for the Pittsburgh Pirates Baseball Club. She received a B.A. in Communication from Chatham College.
