DREW KASTNER

Managing Director

Drew brings a wealth of trademark and copyright experience to the IMC team. His level of trademark authority reaches far and wide, from representing the intellectual property of various media conglomerates including NBC, Comcast and Cablevision to serving iconic figures such as Mickey Mantle, acting as family counsel, advisor and licensing agent for Mantle IP Holdings, Ltd. for more than two decades. During his years with NBC, Drew maintained its voluminous portfolio of intellectual property assets; he was responsible for the registration, maintenance and renewal of copyrights and trademarks for all NBC programs, including "Saturday Night Live," "Late Night with David Letterman," "The Today Show," and "The Tonight Show." He also served as primary program-production counsel for NBC's Entertainment Division, with personal responsibility for the programs "Late Night with David Letterman" and "Saturday Night Live". After serving as Managing Corporate Counsel of Trademarks and Copyright for Lucent Technologies and Chief Worldwide Trademark and Copyright Counsel from NBC Television Network, Drew acted as  Senior Counsel for the Penny Edmonds and Jones Day  Copyrights and Trademarks Group. Before joining IMC, he co-founded and managed all trademark licensing ventures for ThinkFire, a full-service intellectual property advisory, brokerage and licensing services firm. Drew's trademark and copyright expertise extends into global markets as well, providing offshore manufacturers the opportunity to license a brand for entry into the US market that they might not otherwise achieve. Drew offers IMC clients a distinguished level of trademark and copyright knowledge, delivering trademark owners new revenue streams for their marks while strengthening their brand and expanding their reach.

Drew holds a J.D. from Rutgers Law School and a B.A. from Boston College.
