Agency will work to extend the Lenox brand

LEden Prairie, MN (March 4, 2008) – Lenox Group Inc. (NYSE: LNX), a market leader in fine quality tabletop, collectible and giftware products, announced today its intent to pursue a strategic licensing plan and develop a portfolio of new brand-building licensed products. Lenox has appointed IMC Licensing, one of the nation's leading full-service licensing agencies specializing in consumer product brands, to help develop strategies, and identify and develop licensing opportunities for the Lenox brand.

Since 1889, the vision of Walter Scott Lenox has guided the company he founded to set the highest standards for quality, artistry and beauty. Today, the Lenox brand is among the world's most respected and trusted names in fine tableware and giftware – favored by presidents, displayed in museums, honored with awards and enjoyed in homes across America.  The Lenox brand has successfully expanded its reach into quality casual tabletop, crystal stemware, stainless flatware, premium table linens and jewelry, and Lenox collectibles continue to win the hearts of collectors everywhere.

Marc Pfefferle, Lenox Chief Executive Officer, said, “We are very excited about the prospects of this endeavor.” This process will generate profitable new opportunities for an American icon brand well known for quality, design and innovation. We expect to deliver to our customers the great attributes of the Lenox brand in many more product categories for their every day living, home entertainment and gift-giving occasions.”

“We are delighted to represent the Lenox brand along with the quality and tradition inherent in its legacy,” said Cara Bernosky, IMC Licensing President and Co-founder. “We believe its equities, rich design heritage and the fondness the brand holds in the hearts of consumers can translate extremely well into categories such as bedding, furniture, rugs, decorative accessories and other products that complement Lenox’s reputation for entertaining in the home and gift-giving.”
